Connect With a Proxy Server Just press and hold on the message you want to change and then tap the “edit” button. From there, you can modify the message and resend it. Telegram will put an “edited” label on the message to let recipients know of the update. If you don’t want messages in your secret chats to hang around forever, Telegram lets you set self-destruct timers to permanently remove them. After a message is received, it remains in the chat for a predetermined period — you can choose times between one second and one week – before disappearing.

All your normal chat media will be saved in your cloud storage. But, secret chats are not a part of the Telegram cloud. If you are using Telegram on your PC, Laptop, or another device, your secret chat is only visible to your device that you started it.
